KUB to Host Expo & Job Fair at DeBusk Family Center Boys & Girls Club on October 3

Customers can learn about career opportunities, energy savings, KUB Fiber, and more.

Knoxville Utilities Board (KUB) will host an expo to provide customers with an opportunity to talk with KUB employees about a variety of topics. The KUB Community Expo & Job Fair will be held Thursday, October 3 from 2-6 p.m. at the DeBusk Family Center Boys & Girls Club (1819 Dry Gap Pike, Knoxville, TN 37918).

 KUB staff will be on-hand at the event to talk with customers and share resources and demonstrations about:

  • Career opportunities
  • Getting connected to KUB Fiber
  • Bill payment assistance resources
  • Energy and water savings tips
  • Home upgrades that can save energy usage and money
  • Programs to help customers take control of their bill
  • Ways customers can go green and support a sustainable future
  • Electric reliability efforts and outage response
  • Becoming a KUB Natural Gas customer
  • KUB’s electric, fiber, natural gas, water, and wastewater systems
  • Plus, a kids activity station, and more!

 

“As committed stewards of our community, we want to make this information easily accessible to more of our customers,” KUB President and CEO Gabriel J. Bolas said. “This is a chance for us to connect with our customers in person and provide them with KUB resources that meet their needs, whether that’s potential employment, bill payment assistance, savings tips, or just help signing up for our services.”
