Who: Mayor Rogero will present the State of the City Address and her proposed 2018-19 budget to City Council members and the public

 

Hundreds of community leaders and residents will hear the Mayor’s plans for continuing the City’s positive momentum while ensuring that everyone in our community reaps the benefits. The event’s program will also feature Knoxville Poet Laureate R.B. Morris and a South-Doyle Middle School student who participated in the Latitude 35 poetry project.

Free parking for guests is available in the three garages located near KCAC, including Garages A and B across Howard Baker Jr. Ave. and Garage C, accessed from Historic Preservation Drive.

Guests traveling from other points downtown can pick up Knoxville Area Transit’s free Blue Line trolley and ride straight to the Coliseum. KAT buses are free for event attendees; guests should let their drivers know they are attending the State of the City.
