~ from the Office of Neighborhoods

National Night Out (NNO) is tonight, Tuesday, Oct. 1. Neighborhoods across Knoxville will be celebrating neighborly connectivity, police-community relations, and community safety.

This year, 19 Knoxville neighborhoods will celebrate NNO. Police officers, firefighters, local representatives, and neighbors will gather to eat, play, and join together for community potlucks, ice cream, fire truck tours, games, and many other fun activities.

If you live in one of the following neighborhoods, come out, get to know your neighbors and officers; and promote community safety and togetherness in your neighborhood:

Chilhowee Park Neighborhood Association, Dandridge Avenue Neighborhood Watch, Glasglow Rd., Harrill Hills Neighborhood Watch, Inskip Community Association/ACI, Laurel Place Condos, Lindbergh Forest Neighborhood Association, Mechanicsville Community Association, Montgomery Village Resident Association, Montrose Court, Northwest Hills Neighborhood Watch, Norwood Neighborhood Watch, Old North Knoxville Inc., Seven Springs Home Owners Association, South Haven Neighborhood Association, Spring Hill Villas Homeowners Association, Vestal Community Organization, View Park Neighborhood Watch, and Woodale/Central Neighborhood Watch.
