Tomorrow (March 22nd) is the first day for candidates to pick up their nominating petitions to run for Knoxville City Council. City Council districts 1, 2, 3, 4, and 6 will be on the ballot this Fall, with the primary election scheduled for September 24th, and the regular election scheduled for November 5th. To qualify, candidates must file a completed nominating petition with the election commission before noon on June 20th.
