July 14th Meeting at Oakwood-Lincoln Park Clubhouse with Chris BattleJoin us at Oakwood Lincoln Park Clubhouse at 916 Shamrock Ave, TN 37917 on Friday, July 14. The breakfast and networking from 7:45 to 8 a.m. The meeting begins at 8 and adjourns at 9 a.m. There is a lot between the clubhouse and the school that is available for parking. Our speaker will be Chris Battle of Battlefield Farms. Fighting Food Insecurity, Creating CommunityThe BattleField Farm story began in the Spring of 2018. Pastor Chris Battle started a Community Garden on the property of the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Knoxville, TN. He will talk to us about what he has learned about food disparity and food deserts.
