The Knox County Schools Partners in Education is pleased to present the 2014 Regional Conference, 7:30 a.m.-3 p.m., March 3, 2014, at the Sarah Simpson Professional Development Center (801 Tipton Avenue).

Each year, the Knox County Schools hosts this regional event that gathers education professionals, community members and business leaders, who come to learn more about the school-community relationship and gain skills to enrich and promote their school or business.

Conference sessions cover topics including

• Partnerships with the Knox County Schools

• Programs that prepare students for college and career

• Business basics, including grant writing and working with the media

• And more

The conference opening session begins at 8 a.m. in the Great Room of the Sarah Simpson Center. The conference is supported by the Knox Area Association of Realtors.
