Greylan James once again rocks the house!

 

 

Mike Hammond held his open mic night tonight at Mulligans. Greylan James and Chris Stapleton both played the event. There was a great crowd on hand for the event.

Greylan James is a local singer – songwriter from right here in Knoxville Tennessee. He has recently been on NBC’s hit show The Voice. Tonight he played his song titled “If I Was Elvis” which just recently won an award for Best Country Song at the Independant Music Awards in California. This young man is a great upcoming talent and someone to watch out for on the big country music scene very soon.

Chris Stapleton a singer – songwriter out of Nashville who has played with groups such as The Steeldrivers and The Jompson Brothers. His name may not be familiar to you, but you may own several albums that he has been a part of. He has written songs for people such as Darius Rucker, Tim McGraw and Kenny Chesney. He most recently wrote Darius Rucker’s hit titled “Come Back Song”.
