Salvation Army Knoxville Area Command Calls on Community to Fulfill Angel Tree Wishes
It is the final two weeks for Salvation Army Angel Tree adoptions in Knoxville. There are still approximately 80 angels and 130 silver bells (senior citizens) waiting to be adopted and provided with gifts for under the tree on Christmas morning. The Salvation Army is calling upon our community to adopt an angel to help ensure the Miracle Moments of Christmas happen for all Angels.
“We are serving over 1,100 angels and silver bells this Christmas and have about 200 children and seniors left unadopted. However, we know this community is a giving community that will make sure all angels are taken care of this Christmas!”, says Major Paula Henderson, Area Commander.
All unadopted angels are available to adopt by contacting Major Paula Henderson at paula.henderson@uss.
The deadline to adopt angels and return their gifts to The Salvation Army is December 2nd, 2024.
