The start of CMAfest (also known as “Fan Fair”) is  just hours away.  Once again The Knoxville Focus will be reporting, tweeting and photographing the country music festival.

I sat down with  CEO of the CMA  Steve Moore recently and asked him what his thoughts are about CMAfest this year. Here is what he had to say:

“At CMA Music Festival this year we are anticipating record crowds and moving into the new Music City Center for Fan Fair X is just going to be an absolute fantastic year with  all the footprints downtown. We have 11 stages and hundreds of artists. So a lot of exciting things going on. It is really big I have to kind of myself  like everyone else find out what acts I really want to see and haven’t seen. I got to get a schedule for myself. I can’t see everybody but there are some artists I really want to see.  The new convention center is absolutely spectacular we are taking over 350,000 square feet of exhibit space with artists merchandise and memorabilia it’s going to be fantastic!”
