Motorists traveling in Knox County should be aware of an upcoming road closure along Alcoa Highway in Knox County.

On Sunday, November 8 and Monday, November 9, Montlake Drive will be closed to all traffic to allow the contractor to perform paving activities in the area. This closure will be in place between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. each night.

This schedule is contingent on favorable weather conditions.  Motorists are advised to use extreme caution in this area as workers will be present.
