Knox County Parks and Recreation’s new summer concert series, Third Thursday Concerts at New Harvest Park, continues on Thursday, July 21 with country music singer Mae Beth Harris at 6:30 p.m. and folk singer-songwriter Shane at 7:30 p.m.

The free concerts, held June through August on the third Thursday of each month, take place following the New Harvest Park Farmers Market from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at 4775 New Harvest Lane. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own blankets or lawn chairs.

The remaining dates and bands for summer 2016 are:

July 21:            Mae Beth Harris at 6:30 p.m.

Shane at 7:30 p.m.

Aug. 18:          The Blue Jay’s at 6:30 p.m.

Mae Beth Harris at 7:30 p.m.

If any concert has to be canceled due to inclement weather, a notification will be posted to the Knox County Parks & Rec Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/knoxcountyparks/  and the Knox County homepage www.knoxcounty.org.
