Trees Knoxville is offering Level 2 Volunteer Forester training that will begin on Wednesday, Jan. 8, and run for four consecutive Wednesdays (15, 22, and 29), 6-9 p.m. at the Public Works Building, 3131 Morris Ave.

You do NOT have to have Level 1 Volunteer Forester Training, however; level 2 is a bit more in depth.

The four week course costs $50.  If you are interested, view their syllabus and register.

Topics range from Tree Biology and Tree Measurement; to Soil Relations and Water Management; to learning Tree Identification; and more.
