Local children receive adaptive tricycles to ease mobility challenges
Variety – the Children’s Charity of Eastern Tennessee is proud to announce Jeremy Pruitt, the University of Tennessee football coach, will attend its annual golf tournament Monday, April 30 at Willow Creek Golf Club. Before the tournament, at 8:15 a.m., Variety’s Kids on the Go! program will provide several children with disabilities from Knoxville and surrounding counties with specially-designed adaptive tricycles.
“Regal values its strong partnership with Variety, which enables us to be a part of life-changing events like these,” said Ken Thewes, Chief Marketing Officer at Regal and Chief Barker of Variety of Eastern Tennessee. “We love seeing the encouragement and support the community brings to rally around the Kids on the Go! program. Coach Pruitt will take a photo with each participating group, and every player will receive a commemorative picture. Sponsored by Largo Theatre Construction and Regal, the tournament will include breakfast, lunch and a goody bag. The adaptive tricycle recipients will attend the event with their families
