Inaugural fundraiser benefiting Second Harvest

Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee will host its inaugural Volley for Hope pickleball tournament this Saturday, June 3rd through Sunday, June 4th.  Pickleball, a mash-up of tennis, badminton, and Ping-Pong, is the Nation’s fastest-growing sport over the past 3 years.  USA Pickleball-sanctioned players from around East Tennessee and the region will compete in Men’s and Women’s Doubles on Saturday; Mixed Doubles will compete on Sunday.  Registration for sanctioned players is now closed, but spectators are welcome to enjoy the action.

Bush Brothers & Company serves as the Title sponsor with Kroger as the Gold Sponsor. Other sponsors include Woodman Life, Weigel’s, Axle Logistics, Panera Bread, Shafer Insurance and SouthEast Bank.
