The Sunday announcement continues the Sunsphere Sundays theme Visit Knoxville promotes via social media and mimics the timeline in 1982 when the Clydesdales were in Knoxville in November 1981 to mark the official kickoff.

Visit Knoxville will have Sunsphere items from the Visitor Center gift shop for sale on site. Proceeds from the sale of these items help support the Sunsphere Fund.
