Trustee’s office launches program to assist elderly, disabled residents
Last Friday, the Knox County Trustee’s Office announced the launch of its new mobile office program, a community-focused initiative designed to bring essential services directly to the homes of elderly citizens and those with mobility limitations. This innovative program aims to enhance accessibility and provide personalized assistance in processing payments and completing necessary paperwork, ensuring all residents have equitable access to the services they need.
The mobile office is available to visit homes throughout Knox County by appointment, offering a convenient and accommodating option for those who may face challenges visiting the trustee’s office in person.
