A former Farragut High School basketball standout will be inducted into the Freed-Hardeman University Sports Hall of Fame.
Hayley Newby McRady will be honored by FHU on Nov. 14, during the school’s homecoming according to a press release.
McRady was a two-time NAIA and two-time Women’s Basketball Coaches Association All-American for the Lady Lions and she was the NAIA and WBCA Player of the Year in 2014-15.
She was also a three-time first-team all-conference standout for the Lady Lions.
While playing for the Lady Admirals at Farragut High, McRady was the regular-season District 4-AAA Most Valuable Player. She scored over 1,000 points for the Lady Admirals.
