KFD Hosts Open House at Station 11

On Friday afternoon parents brought their children to the Open House at Fire Station 11 on Whittle Springs Road to tour the station and climb aboard the fire engine.

Assistant Fire Chief Carla Jones, Mayor Indya Kincannon and Fire Chief Stan Sharp came to visit and everyone had a great afternoon. Representatives of Knox 911 and UT Medical Center had tables with mementos.

The next Open House will be at Station 5, 419 Arthur Street, on Friday, Aug. 11. – Mike Steely
