Judge Tony Stansberry announced Friday his re-election campaign for Knox County General Sessions Judge, Division V.

“It has been my life’s honor to serve Knox County over the last 26 years as your General Sessions Judge, Division V. Knox County is where I was born and raised, it is where I met my wife Jenny, and it is where we chose to raise our daughter.”

“Over the past year, we have seen an increase in opioid and fentanyl abuse and deaths in our community which has led to a rise in crime. What we need now more than ever is strong, experienced leaders to stand for the rule of law and ensure we maintain our way of life in the greatest county in the greatest state in the Nation. I am proud of the work I have done for our community, and I humbly ask for your support in my re-election campaign for General Sessions Court Judge Division V.”

Judge Tony Stansberry is a Republican candidate for Knox County General Sessions Judge, Division V. Tony has served in this position since his appointment in 1995.

Judge Stansberry lives in Knoxville with his wife of almost 30 years, Jenny. Jenny has been a member of the Volunteer Republican Women’s Club for 25+ years as an officeholder and active member along with several other Republican and community organizations. Additionally, she has been a staff member for the Second Congressional District of Tennessee since May of 1988.
