On this day as I write, it is already the 25th day of the month.  I am reminded that this is the last day of the school year!  What a year it has been!  I also realize that in only seven more months, it will be Christmas!  Unbelievable!  Time.  It can play tricks on our minds.  People often comment that it seems like only yesterday when something happened.  Yet, it may have been years ago.

We have endured a long 14 months of the COVID-19 pandemic.  Many businesses and news programs were done via Zoom.  With today’s technology, some schools opted to conduct classes virtually.  I glance back briefly to school days decades ago.  It would have been impossible to have virtual learning.  Computers were not a part of our daily lives back then.  Amazingly, this year’s graduations are now taking place but with limited attendance.

Even with the pandemic, time seems to have flown by!  “Christmas in July” is just around the corner.  Already, some stores have fall and Christmas merchandise just waiting to go on the shelves.  A Christmas movie can be seen now and then on cable, and social media is forevermore sharing Christmas images.

As we travel toward another season along life’s path, have a great summer!  Treasure the memories made this year and enjoy the days to come!  Be safe!
